Palmetto Tree Platter

I found inspiration for this print while lounging on my hammock in my backyard. I remember lazily swaying back and forth, watching the sun filter through the palm fronds, and feeling so relaxed and at peace.  The palmetto tree is native to the south, and has always been a constant part of my natural surroundings.  It stirs feelings of comfort and calm, and reminds me of warm summer nights .

The playful colors of red, green and a black and white check border makes this a whimsical element to your everyday entertaining.  These pieces are hand painted, glazed, fired and signed by me. They should be hand-washed with care.
